Disclaimer
The self help programme is appropriate for people who want to reduce or stop but are not in immediate crisis as a result of their alcohol or cocaine use. If you are physically dependant on alcohol or notice withdrawal symptoms when you try to cut down we advise you to seek medical supervision immediately as it might be dangerous to reduce your use without it.
The selfhelp programmes are not suitable for people who:
- have a long history of heavy alcohol or drug use
- experience withdrawal symptoms while reducing or stopping
- suffer from other mental or physical problems in addition to problems caused by alcohol and cocaine
- are under the age of 18 years
- are pregnant
If you find that the self help is insufficient, we recommend that you contact one of the organizations listed (see links).
